Robinson moderates & speaks at Lorman Education's Green Building Seminar in Houston

HOUSTON, Texas--February 15, 2008--Houston-area development, design & construction professionals learned all about sustainable development at Lorman Education's 6-hour Green Building and Construction Seminar. Topics & speakers included:

• Green Building Costs, Savings & Value, by Jim Broughton, LEED AP of TAS
• Greening Existing Buildings - The Challenge for Houston, by Andy Bergman, LEED AP of Air Zone International
• The Business Case for Green Business, by Mark Robinson, MBA, LEED AP, GA of Momentum Bay Associates LP.

Momentum Bay's founder Mark Robinson also moderated the panel. Robinson's presentation:

• Helped new & veteran leaders get up to speed & stay ahead of the hottest color trend in Texas' design, construction & development: GREEN.
• Made it easy, fun, interactive, practical, informal & fast-paced to go green profitably
• Dispelled myths, allayed fears & adjusted stereotypes with practical, current & relevant information about green business & green real estate
• Equipped attendees to sell corporate sustainability at the strategic, executive-level

• Equipped guests to be transformed into consultative salespersons – who sell, teach & integrate their own ‘green’ stories, &

Robinson also walked through a case study about one of the firm's clients, Green Bank, showing how the bank is earning the right to be heard by retail customers & commercial clients by transforming the bank's products, processes, properties & people. Even the bank's CEO & President traded in his SUV for a Toyota Prius, like two of Momentum Bay's other clients' executives have done.

After the presentation, Robinson gave every attendee a $1 tool that has helped his household save $3,000 on utilities over a 5-year period.
