Mark Alan Robinson, MBA

Sustainability & Strategy Consultant

Robinson began his career as a turnaround management & strategic growth consultant for home décor, flooring & wood products manufacturers; building supply distributors & retailers; & others across the construction industry.

In 2002, the focus of his client work & personal life shifted rapidly to sustainability & related "green" industries: corporate sustainability, green building, renewable energy or green power, natural/organic food, & even his own green courtship & green wedding. (Learn how the Robinsons' elegant eco wedding celebration saved $18,000 from some of the many articles featuring the couple: The Houston Chronicle, Today's Groom Magazine, Plenty Magazine & others).

Recent & current projects include:

comprehensive green business & green building consulting to organizations going green organization-wide, particularly those developing high performance green buildings, including ENERGY STAR® labeled buildings & LEED® certified projects, such as:

helping businesses & households purchase green power at substantial discounts

equipping leaders, real estate professionals, households & youth to go green for the right reasons at the right time with the right attitude; &

producing video tours of green buildings across Texas.

Robinson's inspiration to “go green” is rooted in solid business principles & the values learned from some of his heroes -- his grandpa, parents & former youth pastors. Robinson’s broad & deep understanding of & personal passion for creation care, sustainability & construction uniquely equip him to help companies & individuals “go green.”

Robinson earned a Masters in Business Administration from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, the nation's top ranked Entrepreneurship MBA program. He earned a bachelors degree at Trinity University, with majors in business administration & psychology, as well as a minor in French.

Apart from his activities at Momentum Bay, Robinson is also a registered Finder with the Texas State Securities Board (i.e., as a sole proprietor). In this role, Robinson introduces accredited investors to owners of companies issuing securities (i.e., selling equity in their businesses, particularly family-owned businesses) and/or introducing companies issuing securities to accredited investors.

Momentum Bay's Board of Advisors is made up of distinguished faithful men & women who are committed to advancing the firm's mission & priorities. While not a governing body, the Board of Advisors is actively involved in the firm's strategic decisions.

MOMENTUM BAY ASSOCIATES LP is a comprehensive green management consulting firm headquartered in Houston, Texas.

Momentum Bay is also an approved provider of mandatory continuing education (MCE) credit courses with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC; provider #0515).

And, Momentum Bay is an electricity consultant, broker & registered Class I aggregator (PUC #80247) of exclusively green power in Texas’ retail electricity market. We help primarily commercial customers save money, increase Texas’ energy independence, improve Texas’ air quality & Texans’ health, reduce human causes of climate change, & love the things God loves – people & the planet.
