Our green transformation story & the stories of many of our clients often begin in our heads with the renewing of our minds, migrate to our hearts, & work themselves out through our hands in the form of first steps & sustained actions.

But, every time this challenging process occurs, a person or organization has to research & identify practical, effective, reliable, affordable & fun providers of ‘green’ products & services.

To simplify the “action” step of going green profitably for our clients, Momentum Bay did three things:

First, we became Texas’ first electricity broker, registered aggregator, & consultant focused exclusively on green power so that we could offer households & organizations renewable energy at a substantial discount. In 2009, we also became an approved broker of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) in Texas’ ERCOT region. And, we now offer onsite generation alternatives, like small wind turbines.

Second, Momentum Bay became business developers (i.e., a consultative sales force) for a select group of leading green companies & our own best vendor-partners. Some of these include:

• green funding: Texas’ first bank focused on sustainability, providing construction loans on green buildings & commercial loans to green businesses
• green building consulting: one of the nation’s leading green building consulting firms with experience on over 250 green buildings, the 30th member of the USGBC®, & one of only nine firms that reviews LEED® submittals for the USGBC, &
• green building commissioning: one of the nation’s leading green building commissioning firms with experience on hundreds of LEED projects & other green buildings, &
• green printing: a leading national broker of the most economical & ecological paper & commercial printing.

And, third, we have been building the Momentum Bay Network of local & national ‘green’ experts.
